Creo en Obama

July 27, 2008

I had the great opportunity to shoot a music video for the song “Te Invitamos A Creer” (An Invitation to Believe). The song calls to action the Latino community in America to support Barack Obama for President.

You’ll have to wait and see the video, but the song is about taking action now in order to leave a better world for the next generation.

Rapenomics

July 27, 2008

I was gaffer on “Rapenomics” for Bobby Garcia the other day. We shot in his studio in Jersey and on a rooftop in midtown Manhattan.

Turned out to be some nice setups, and it didn’t hurt that the song is great. Rodney Leconte directed.

Hoot Hoot!

July 10, 2008

The Loud Owls have never been louder. We crammed into their AWESOME, but small recording studio in Williamsburg the other night and banged out a video for “Out Crowd.”

We rigged some Pars up in the rafters and raked the walls. By the end it became rather spotty and reminded me a little of a musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Some day… Man it felt good to be in a studio again. Even though I still don’t know what half the stuff does.
